WILLIAMS – Ruby Lee Williams of Stratford passed away peacefully Thursday, June 14, 2012 surrounded by family. She was the youngest daughter of the late Elizer Crosby and Nancy Andrews born August 29, 1929 in Mississippi and grew up in New Orleans. She later migrated north to Connecticut where she spent the remainder of her life. Ruby was a former member of First Baptist Church of Stratford. She was an active member of St. Marks's Episcopal Church and faithfully served God. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Marva (Nick) Fletcher of Maryland, son Harry James Williams of California, and honorary daughter Alice (John) Cennamo, her grandchildren: Yusef Williams, Maisha Draves, Naima Provo, Asia, Derrick and Austin Walton, Zaria Valentine; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other loved relatives and friends.
