LOYD – Evangelist Betty C. Lloyd, age 89, of Bridgeport entered eternal rest Saturday, July 28, 2012 in the comfort of her home. Born in Washington, DC, she was a resident of Bridgeport for thirty-eight years. Evangelist Loyd was a member and the First lady of Fellowship Temple. She served as President of the Minister’s and Women’s Auxiliary, in addition, she was a Sunday school teacher. Evangelist Loyd was a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Pastor John Loyd of Bridgeport; six sons, two daughters, one sister Virginia Haskell of Washington, DC; thirty-four grandchildren, twelve great grand-children and a host of other relatives and friends.
