Horace E. Jenkins, age 62, was called into eternal rest Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at his home in Greensboro, North Carolina. Born in Easley, South Carolina, he was raised in Bridgeport, CT until relocating to North Carolina, where he was a resident for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Central High School in Bridgeport. He went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree from UNCG and retired from Guilford County as a social worker. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Forces as a security specialist and received an honorable discharge. In the family circle he was the matriarch beloved, possessing strength and wisdom in an overflowing abundance.
